A Message from the Venture

From a dying river to a national restoration.

Project leadership briefing at the riverbank
The venture in the field, basin reconnaissance

When the Defence Industries Holding Company (DIHOC) Limited and Denzel Logistics Limited created this venture in 2022, we began with a simple conviction: that Ghana’s rivers, restored and protected, could once again power the communities, farms, and economies built along them.

A decade of crackdowns taught the nation what enforcement alone cannot do. So we built something different, a single accountable institution that pairs the discipline of a defence establishment with world‑class marine logistics, and pairs every kilometre of dredging with livelihoods, forests, and community ownership designed to outlast the machines.

“Restore the rivers. Replace the livelihoods. Secure both.”

Whether you are a funder, a regulator, a journalist, or a community with a river worth saving, we invite you to explore how, together, we can return the Offin, the Pra, and the Ankobra to the nation.

What We Do

One programme, four disciplines.

The Restore Ghana Project is an industrial environmental remediation programme. We assess, dredge, restore, and sustain, converting Ghana’s most damaged rivers back into working national infrastructure.

Discover the Plan
01

Assess

Surveys & EIAs

Hydrographic surveys, certified environmental impact assessments, and site selection agreed with regulators and communities.

02

Dredge

Desilt & Re-engineer

Desiltation fleets restore natural depth and flow; contaminated sediment is contained while clean sand is recovered for reuse.

03

Restore

Banks, Forests & Fisheries

Embankments stabilize the banks, riparian forests are replanted, native fisheries restocked, and water quality monitored to treatable standards.

04

Sustain

Prosperity & Permanence

Livelihoods, riverine transport, and carbon credit revenues that finance monitoring and maintenance long after the dredgers leave.

Where We Operate

Three basins, one restoration front.

From our base in Accra, operations concentrate on the gold‑bearing heartlands of the Ashanti, Central, and Western regions, the Offin, the Pra, and the Ankobra.
